Belize Port Authority Enhances Maritime Security

The Belize Port Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding maritime safety and compliance within our waters. Today, our enforcement team, led by Coxswain Mr. Banner and Marine Enforcement Officers Mr. Bradley and Mr. Ramclam, was actively patrolling to ensure adherence to regulations and safe navigation.

March 19, 2025, marked a significant milestone for maritime operations in Belize City, with a total of eight vessels in port, including five cruise ships, two ocean-going tugboats, and one oil tanker. This heightened activity underscores Belize’s growing role as a key maritime hub in the region.
