On August 5th, 2025, the MV Iremos, sailing under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda, made its inaugural call to Belize, with all port formalities facilitated by the Belize Port Authority Boarding Officer, Mr. Vince Castillo and other officials. The visit was conducted in full compliance with both national regulations and international maritime standards.
The arrival of the MV Iremos represents another significant step in strengthening Belize’s role within the regional and global shipping network. As the nation’s maritime regulatory, the Authority plays a pivotal role in overseeing safe and efficient port operations that align with international best practices.
