What an incredible journey it has been! The Maritime Summer Camp 2026 has officially come to an end, and we are proud to celebrate two successful camps filled with learning, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
Cayo Camp (6–10 July 2026) was held at Teodocio Ochoa Park and welcomed 30 campers. Participants learned water survival skills, maritime careers, rope work, boat safety, and First Aid/CPR while also enjoying painting, water balloons, sports, and other fun team activities.
A major highlight was Field Day, where campers visited the BDF Air Wing, where they learned about the aircraft and vessels that protect our borders; the Belize Coast Guard Base, where they learned about drone operations; and the Belize Port Authority Headquarters, where they enjoyed a special boat ride.
Belize City Camp was held at Swift Hall with 32 participants, who were equally engaged in hands-on maritime training and exciting recreational activities.
