The facility is ISPS compliant and located at 16°28’20.”N latitude and 88°24”20.2W longitude.
It consists of a small portion of the southern end of the Belizean island known as Harvest Caye.

This is the first port to accommodate cruise vessels to dock rather than requiring tenders.
