In commemoration of World Maritime Day 2026, the Belize Port Authority, International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize (IMMARBE), and the Belize Coast Guard are pleased to invite members of the public, vessel owners, mariners, and maritime industry stakeholders to the World Maritime Day Expo on September 24 at Swift Hall.
This annual event provides an opportunity for members of the maritime community to connect directly with maritime authorities, access convenient registry and licensing services, learn about professional development opportunities, and take advantage of exclusive incentives available during the Expo.

Take advantage of advance vessel registration services for 2027 filings. - Apprenticeship Exemption for First-Time Master’s License Applicants
Eligible first-time Master’s License applicants may receive a waiver of the standard six-month apprenticeship requirement upon submission of a reputable recommendation letter.
