NOTICE TO MARINERS – Dredging Operations Mouth of Haulover Creek, Belize City June 22 – 30 September, 2021


Belize City, Belize – June 22nd, 2021 – Please be advised reference Admiralty chart # 522 Belize City and Approaches:

Dredging operations will be conducted at the mouth of the Haulover Creek in Belize City, commencing June 22nd, 2021 to September 30th, 2021.

Operations will be conducted within the marked channel and in the turning basin at the Fort Street Tourism Village.

Obstructions will be marked by yellow buoys and pillars during the day time along with flashing amber lights at night. Mariners should not attempt to navigate over the obstruction or near the dredge and its pipelines. Vessels should observe a minimum safe distance of 100 feet from working equipment.

Mariners must use extreme caution and navigate at a minimum safe operating speed while maneuvering in the area positioned:
